Fees
Mediation is a less expensive, less adversarial, and more sustainable way to find solutions in situations like divorce or estate challenges.
Fees will vary depending on the approach used and the number of sessions required.
A range of $2,000 to $7,200 is typical.
Example Scenarios
Below are a few common scenarios to help illustrate what to expect from the process both financially and logistically.
Joint Mediation*
In joint mediation, the parties work with Jennifer together in one space, either virtually or in person. Jennifer facilitates the parties’ discussion and resolution of their family law matter, working with the parties during a series of sessions. Mediation generally begins with a joint session to discuss the process, followed by each party meeting privately with Jennifer for an hour, then everyone coming back together for joint sessions to work through the issues and concerns.
This process is designed to focus on the particular needs for each individual case. Each Joint Mediation can - and should - be tailored to best serve the parties. The scenarios below are guidelines and each mediation reflects the specific situation and parties.

Shuttle Method Mediation*
In shuttle method mediation, each party (and their counsel) participates with Jennifer from their own space, either via breakout room on Zoom or in physical conference room space, and Jennifer moves from one room to the other. Parties do not participate in any joint sessions. Shuttle Method works well for family law, probate, and other civil litigation issues. Jennifer prefers to use two shorter mediation sessions for complex matters rather than engaging in “marathon” full day mediations. On a case-by-case basis she will consider full day mediations of 8-10 hours by agreement in advance.
